Tervetuloa Helsinki-päivänä merellisen Helsingin kansallismaisemaan Harakan saarelle 12.6. klo 14-18! Osallistu luontoretkille, opastuksiin ja taidetyöpajoihin! Retkille ja työpajoihin ei ole ennakkoilmoittautumista.
Koko perheen luonto- ja taidetapahtuma tarjoaa paljon nähtävää ja koettavaa saaristoluonnon syleilyssä. Nonstop-periaatteella kulkeva yhteysvene Harakkaan on maksuton koko tapahtuman ajan. Maksuton liikennöinti alkaa klo 13.30. Pop-up kahvila palvelee saarivieraita Galleria Lennättimessä.

HARAKAN TAITEILIJOIDEN OPASTUKSET JA TYÖPAJAT
• Taidetyöpaja 1: Kurkistus taiteilijan työhuoneeseen ja elävän (alaston)mallin piirtämistä kuvanveistäjä Aleksi Remsun tahdissa. Yksi työpaja kestää noin 1h 15 min (kierros 30 min, piirtäminen 45 min). Mukaan mahtuu 30 henkilöä kerrallaan. Ei ennakkoilmoittautumista. Lähtö taiteilijatalon pääoven edustalta klo 14.15 ja klo 16.15.
• Taidetyöpaja 2: Lennokasta lintujen piirtämistä lintu- ja maisemalavalla kuvataiteilija Osmo Kivimäen ja luonto-opas Erkki Makkosen johdolla. Ei vaadi aiempaa kokemusta piirtämisestä. Ei ennakkoilmoittautumista. Yhteislähtö luontotalon edustalta klo 14.30 ja klo 16.
• Itsenäisesti kuljettava ja QR-koodien avulla avautuva taidekierros esittelee Annette Arlanderin videoteoskokonaisuuden ”Animal Years”. Teokset pohjautuvat kiinalaiseen kalenteriin ja ne on kuvattu 12 vuoden aikana Harakan saarella. Ota kuva teosten sijaintikartasta Harakan saaren ilmoitustaululta. Saat oppaalta lisätietoja.
HARAKAN LUONTOKESKUKSEN OPASTUKSET, RETKET JA TYÖPAJAT
• Suolasateenkaarityöpaja luontotalolla, klo 14-15.30 ja 16-17.30.
• Opastetut untuvikkokierrokset, lähtö luontotalon edustalta klo 15 ja 16.30.

• Tutustu Itämeren vedenalaiseen maailmaan murtovesiakvaarioiden äärellä, Akvaariotalo. Opas on paikalla koko tapahtuman ajan.

POP-UP KAHVILA
Pop-up kahvila palvelee tapahtumavieraita Galleria Lennättimessä. Galleriassa on esillä näyttely Harakan taidekokoelmista. Mukana teoksia mm. Rafael Wardilta, Kimmo Kaivannolta ja EGS:ltä. Maksuvälineinä kahvilassa käyvät MobilePay sekä käteinen.
SAAVUTETTAVUUS
Yhteysalukseen, Taiteilijataloon ja galleriatiloihin ei ole pääsyä pyörätuolilla. Luontopolulla liikutaan maasto-olosuhteissa. Galleria Lennättimeen, Taiteilijataloon ja Luontotaloon noustaan portaita. Yleisö WC löytyy saaren satamasta ja sinne on pääsy liuskaa pitkin. Saarelle ei saa tuoda koiria.
Huom! Kesäkuu on saaren lintujen pesimäaikaa. Liiku rauhallisesti ja varoen.

On Helsinki Day, welcome to the national landscape of maritime Helsinki on Harakka Island on 12.6. at 14-18! Take part in nature walks, guided tours and art workshops! There is no pre-registration for the excursions and workshops.
The whole family nature and art event offers plenty to see and experience in the embrace of island nature. The non-stop boat service to Harakka is free of charge throughout the event. The free service starts at 13.30. A pop-up café will be serving island visitors at the Gallery Telegraph.

HARAKKA ARTISTS’ GUIDED TOURS AND WORKSHOPS
– Art workshop 1: A peek into the artist’s studio and draw a live (nude) model with the sculptor Aleksi Remsu. One workshop lasts about 1h 15 min (tour 30 min, drawing 45 min). There is capacity for 30 people at a time. No pre-registration required. Departure from the main entrance of the Artists’ House at 14.15 and 16.15.
– Art workshop 2: Drawing birds in flight on the bird and landscape platform with artist Osmo Kivimäki and nature guide Erkki Makkonen. No previous drawing experience required. No pre-registration required. Departure from the front of the Nature House at 14.30 and 16.00.
– The self-guided art tour, opened by QR codes, presents Annette Arlander’s video work “Animal Years”. The works are based on a Chinese calendar and were filmed over 12 years on Harakka Island. HARAKKA NATURE CENTRE GUIDED TOURS, EXCURSIONS AND WORKSHOPS
– Salt rainbow workshop at the Nature House, 14-15.30 and 16-17.30.
– Guided baby bird tours, departing from the front of the Nature House at 15.00 and 16.30.
– Guided plant tours, departing from the front of the Nature House at 15.30 and 17.30.
– Explore the underwater world of the Baltic Sea in the Aquarium House. A guide will be present throughout the event.
– Explore the Nature House’s renewed archipelago exhibit. A guide will be present throughout the event.

POP-UP CAFÉ
A pop-up café will serve event guests at the Gallery Telegraph. The gallery will host an exhibition of Harakka’s art collections, featuring works by Rafael Ward, Kimmo Kaivanno, EGS and others. MobilePay and cash are accepted as payment methods in the café.
ACCESSIBILITY
Wheelchair access is not available to the Ferry, the Artists’ House and the gallery spaces. The nature trail is off-road. Stairs are used to get to the Gallery Telegraph, the Artist’s House and the Nature House. The public toilet is located in the harbour of the island and can be accessed along a strip. Dogs are not allowed on the island.
Note! June is the island’s bird nesting season. Please move slowly and with caution.
