”I have focused on forming my own tools and what the process of weaving can offer us, rather than concentrating solely on the final products that the loom can weave. As an artist and a weaver, I want to create hand-weaving tools that reveal the infinite possibilities of textile creation by hand.”
The exhibition showcases Yoshizawa’s ongoing research into ancient hand-weaving techniques, which she reinterprets into contemporary interlacing practices through her technical curiosity. Throughout the exhibition week, audiences are invited to witness her experimental approach as she constructs her own looms within the gallery space.
This exhibition follows the first exhibition, B/LOOM !, held at Galleria Lennätin in 2023.

How to get to Harakka?
The connection boat departs from the Kaivopuisto pier, next to Café Ursula, at 14:30 (no service at 14:30).
Adult return ticket €9. Children and pensioners €6.
Only card payments or MobilePay are accepted on the boat.
Raise the white flag at the pier to signal the boat to come and pick you up.
